About Design Village
Annually run through the College of Architecture & Environmental Design at SLO, this competition was initiated in 2008 in order to give students hands-on experience in constructing temporary structures, working in teams, and fundraising. Each group is required to build one temporary structure in which all of the students can live in from April 20th to 22nd in the Poly Canyon next to Cal Poly SLO.
